Sometimes your email will not look the same when it comes through your inbox as it does in the create window of your autoresponder. To make sure your email looks exactly like you want it to, be sure to send yourself a test email before you mail the email to your entire list.

Always click through all the links in your test email to make sure they are all working.

Be Sure to Use a SPAM Checker Before Mailing Your Email

As there are certain words or combinations of words that can trigger spam red flags and prevent your email from being delivered, you should always use a spam checker before you send your email to your list. You can purchase spam checker software, or use the spam checker software provided by your autoresponder service.

Be Sure You Leave Your Landing Pages Up For a Reasonable Time Frame

Some emails may not be opened for several weeks, in the case of someone who has gone on vacation, or who may only periodically check their email. Because of this, it is important that the links in your emails work for some period of time after the email is sent.

Be Sure and Proofread Every Email You Send Out

It is too easy to just write a quick email, crank it out, and then find after reading the delivered copy, that the email contained blatant spelling and grammar errors. Be sure an proofread every email you send, and proof the test copy also.
